Microwave Melting Instructions for our Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Chips & Mega Chunks:
1-2 teaspoons vegetable oil or shortening (such as Spectrum) (If you prefer softer chocolate, add more oil or shortening – up to 1 T)
Place chocolate and oil or shortening in a microwavable bowl. Heat on high for 30 seconds, stir.
Continue heating in 20 – 30 seconds, stirring after each heating until melted. Don’t overheat chocolate.
Use as desired.
*We suggest adding oil or Spectrum Organic Shortening during the tempering process because our chocolate does not contain soy lecithin or any other emulsifier.
